Care
Exercise and rehab
Movement and exercise guidance to go with your visits: what to do at home, and how to do it.
Your doctor may suggest a few movements, shows you how to do them and checks them at later visits. Nothing here needs more than a chair, a wall or a towel.

What to expect
What a visit includes
A short demonstration, a written list of the movements and a check of how you do them.
Movements chosen for you
A written list to take home
A check at the next visit
How long and how often
The doctor suggests how often to do them and changes the list as you go. We do not promise a number of weeks or visits.
What we do not claim
We do not say that exercise treats or cures a condition, or that it builds strength by a set amount. Results vary.
When to see a physician first
Stop and call us if a movement makes things worse. For a sudden severe headache or pain, new weakness or numbness, call 911 or see a physician first.
Exercise guidance is part of a full visit and has no separate fee.
Questions about this care
Do I need to join a gym?
No. The movements use a chair, a wall or a towel, and the doctor chooses ones that fit your home.
How long does each movement take?
The doctor tells you and writes it on your list. Most take a few minutes.
What if I miss a day?
Pick the list back up. Tell the doctor at your next visit, and they will change it if it no longer suits you.
Start with the written list
Ask the front desk how exercise guidance fits into a visit.
- A sudden severe headache or neck pain, dizziness, trouble speaking or seeing, new weakness or numbness, numbness in the groin or saddle area (between the legs and buttocks), or new bladder or bowel trouble needs emergency care now. Call 911 or go to an emergency room.
